  • Tablet (playing music) out on table next to open package of bread. Ensure employee personal items are stored below and away from food and food contact surfaces. Corrected on site.
  • Raw lettuce observed resting directly on shelving in walk-in cooler. Some lettuce had come into contact with contaminants. Ensure vegetables are not stored in a way that allows for contamination (directly on shelving, unless surfaces are washed, rinsed, and sanitized routinely).
  • Ice scoop handle found resting in direct contact with ice in ice machine. Ensure ice scoop is stored in grooves inside ice machine, in ice machine with the handle sticking upwards or inside a separate container that is clean.
  • No hand soap observed at hand sink (in back kitchen, adjacent to mop sink and ice machine). Ensure all hand sinks are supplied with soap and paper towels.
  • Toxic sanitizing bucket stored adjacent to mixing bowls on lower shelf in serving area of kitchen. Ensure toxic items are stored below and away from food and food contact surfaces. Toxic items may also be spatially separated from food and food contact surfaces on the same shelf.
  • Automatic closed system dish washing machine not sanitizing to 165 degrees F according to temperature gauge. No sanitizing heat strips observed at time of inspection. Resort to manual dish washing in 3 compartment sink until automatic dishwashing machine is repaired.
