Remarks: NIGHT VFR APCH. HEARD A LOUD THUMP. POST-FLT INSPN FOUND SML DENT IN THE INBD LEFT LEADING EDGE SLAT AND LRG DENT IN OUTBOARD LEFT TE FLAP. A/C REPAIRED ENOUGH AFTER 42 HRS TO FERRY IT BACK TO MANUFACTURER FOR COMPLETE REPAIRS. TOTAL COST OF REPAIRS UNKN AT THIS TIME, HOWEVER ESTAMTED $50K+ SO FAR. BIRD REAMINS WERE UNRECOVERABLE, THE BIRD WAS RETPD TO AHVE BEEN IN MAN PIECES AND WAS SCAVENGED BY OTHER WILDLIFE. ASIAS REPT SAID CREW DROVE OUT ON THE RWY AND FOUND A LRG GOOSE ON RWY JUST LEFT OF CENTERLINE. FLAP AND SLAT REPLACED BEFORE FURTHER FLT.
