Charles M. Schulz Museum


Charles M. Schulz Museum is located at 2301 Hardies Lane in Sonoma County's Santa Rosa, California. From Labor Day through Memorial Day the museum is closed on Tuesdays. The facility is open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the week and from 10a.m. until 5 p.m. on weekends. During the summer from Memorial Day the museum opens everyday; on weekends the hours are from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and during the week from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Schulz Museum is closed for major holidays.

Admission to the facility is free for children under the age of four and members of the museum. Adults pay $10, seniors sixty-two and over, children ages four to eighteen pay $5 for admission. Visitors will find that the exterior courtyard, elevator, restrooms, gallery spaces and parking lot are all accessible by wheelchair. The front desk at the Charles M. Schulz Museum has one wheelchair available for visitors depending on its availability.

The museum also has Snoopy's Home Ice and the Snoopy's Gallery and Gift Shop in same building. The collection of Peanuts cartoons is the main focus of the museum. There are almost six thousand drawings featured in the collection dating all the way back to 1950 through the year 2000.
