Private and Charter Schools for the Deaf in Texas (18 months to Kinder)

If you are thinking of relocating to Texas and you are a parent or caregiver for a special needs/ hearing loss child then you may want to consider this schools.

When I first moved I felt so lost and didn't know where to begin, however Texas is a wonderful place for our kids, we have resources and people that care. I hope this helps you!!

Please be sure to verify with your insurance agent for an official flood plan determination and prior to making a decision to not purchase flood insurance.

Your home is a great asset and you don't want to risk your investment, however we all start doing our research online before contacting the professionals. It's good to be informed but always get confirmation from the professionals

Auditory Verbal vs Auditory Oral

For a while I was under the impression that the difference remained in the parents or family involvement and ability to participate on the day to day therapy for your child. ie. I believed that if I dropped my child to an auditory school and he spent time with the teachers and other kids this was auditory verbal and If I participated in the class and then bring what I learned home to implement on my day to day it was auditory oral.
