Snow Day!

Today is a definite snow day... Eight inches from last night! Schools closed and everything else apparently. People getting stuck in the snow, sliding on ice, and playing bumper cars with each other.
OK, lets put it this way, only 'sane' people stayed home from this, apparently my lovely Sister in Law doesnt qualify as being in that catagory, because she is on Instant Messanger and is at work "
" Apparently, all the people from her side of the River, didnt have much sense either.
My Wife tried to put our Dashound out to play in the snow... He took one look at it, and simply refused to go!! (And I called him stupid all the time...He may have more sense than a lot of people, it seems like LOL).
We are under a stage 2 alert for snow, no driving unless absolute necessity. Now, wouldnt ya just know it, my Wife has a meeting to go to, and she is getting ready for it now. I really dont think the sunshine out there, is going to be strong enough to melt all the snow quick enough to drive on safely, but, who knows...
Oh, Nancy, tell your Mom that I am recording those two movies from the DVR now, and she will put it in the mail, at her earliest convinience... Now, why "YOU" dont do this for your Mom, since your only a few miles away from her, and Im 600 miles away from her, is something I just cant figure out
... You really need to pick up the ball on this one, and watch those Amish and tear-jerkers on Life and A&E and the other channels that have those on, so that she can have a steady diet of movies 
. At least one thing, I get to take this off of my DVR now, and free up two hours for something else. Im DVRing up some woodworking stuff, to record later.
My Daughter left a 'term paper' for me to print out, (rough draft), and its a good thing my Wife and Son are versed in this sort of thing, because I would be lost trying to do that sort of business LOL (yea, I did flunk 9th grade English...mainly because it was right after lunch, and I always got sleepy after eating a meal...never could keep my eyes open during that time period-->Also, I HATED Edgar Allen Poe's work... I still cant see why we were forced to listen to the works of an opium deluded madman, whom history has dictated to be a Genius of somekind, just because they couldnt figure out what he was all about too LOL!!).
I printed the stuff out, and even got to suggest a few corrections... (OK, so I recognised a 'run on' sentence). Now its in better shape.
Its unfortunate, that my Daughter helped her Girlfriend with hers, as she knows about as much as I do, and recognised that the works between them was in error and called her last night, telling her that she needed to correct this and that. She only hopes that the girl 'does' take the advice, or the girl is going to blame my Daughter for a bad grade! Thems the break when you are plodding in the dark, and towing someone else in your rowboat, along with you ... hmmm
OK, 'nuff for now.
