Girls "N" The Hood!

There was an accident out on Route 7 today. My Son tried to go to work, but, couldnt get around all the Police and Fire Department... So, he came back and ask my Wife, what to do? She went with him and asked one of the Police Officer if it was ok to get around his car, as he had to go to work, and he said 'sure'.
Well, my Daughter had to go to School...by crossing the highway, and the Police Officer said No Way! There was a downed powerline and he couldnt let her go across. She whined she was going to be late! He said, dont worry, I know your Dad, so I will personally escourt you to School and tell them. So, she waited til the all clear sign was given and sure to his word, the Police Officer walked with her and walked her into the Office!! ROTFLOL....
My Daughter was never so embarrassed by that
! The Office Personnel wanted to know what she had done?! He said nothing, but that she was going to be late because of that accident on the highway, and that they couldnt let her cross, and since she was going to be late, he escourted her, so she wouldnt get into trouble LOL
Of course, everyone started to heckle her, because a good portion of the School must have been looking out of the windows and saw her personal escourt... Always the 'quiet ones' they were snickering
... Really halarious in my opinion. Shame, she didnt get the name of the Police Officer so I could thank him myself. sheesh. (I didnt know that there were still people who knew me from the city, since I've been gone for over five years...most of them retired with me). Glad to know I still have friends there, yet.
OK, gotta see News 9 and see if there were any injuries to that truck driver that hit the utility pole... But, my Wife is wanting to take me to exercise session now, so I may have to catch it on their website later. Sure wish I hadnt ate that tangerine now, sheesh! Its gonna interfere with my pain meds...(she always asks me when Im not expecting it).
