Well, it was interesting times yesterday in our household.
It seems my Daughter's Boyfriend, (he has been allowed to sleep on the couch a few times, since he lives 40 miles away and cant make it home, basically, doesnt leave when a normal person should, to get home), accepted a package at 6:30am and gave it to my Wife.
She saw it was at the wrong address, and knew where it was 'supposed to go', so, when my Daughter got up for work, and she and her Boyfriend went seperate ways, my Wife delivered the medication to the proper place.
Meanwhile, the person who was supposed to deliver it, came knocking on our door, and woke both, my Son and Me up!
He explained to my Son that a package was delivered to this address by mistake, and he would like it back! Uhhhhhh, oooook????
Just waking up, he has no idea what he is talking about. The guy kept saying that he delivered it to a 'bald guy' LOL
(My Daughters Boyfriend isnt bald, just crew cut hair cut), and that he would like to speak to another person.
My Son tells him that the only person in the house is me, and that I was sleeping, (good thing I heard all this and was getting dressed at the time), so, my Son came and got me.
What I saw, as a black man, with dreadlocks for hair, (I never like those, always thought it was ropes hanging from someones head), and looking scruffy to boot!
He presented his story to me, and my Son and I tossed the house looking for it.
No dice.... Cant find the package for nothing. So, I convinced the guy that I would call him as soon as some one showed up. (Meaning my Wife).
I tried to get ahold of my Daughter's Boyfriiend, but, we have no number for him, (part of my Daughters secretive lifestyle, not wanting us to intrude in her friends lives or hers). I even got on facebook to try and get a message to him, no dice.
Finally, my Wife shows up and I ask her about this mysterious package. She says that she delivered this package to the rightful place, and not to worry about it.
I called the guy who 'was' worried, and let him know that it was delivered and I dont know if he believed me or not, but, thats the end of the story.
That makes twice, they have tried to deliver the medicines to the wrong place, and this time, it may have cost them thier job, and cost some one thier life, if it was that valuable or vital that they had to deliver it at that time of the day! I hope that this guy learns a lesson, sheesh. Always Verify!!
