New Computer

I recieved a new computer for Christmas, and Im using it now... (NO, Im still typing on my old computer right next to it )

Do I like it? NO!!

I dont understand the way it works! Blocks instead of a "Start" button...

Cant find anything Im looking for...

Seems like everything on this thing is an advertisement for something...

Im going to ask my Daughter to help me with it, and, if I cant figure it out, then, I may ask her to switch her old computer, for my new computer!! (Wife will be livid, but, who cares! If I cant use the blasted thing, then its absolutely no use to me).

OH, and I cant get onto City Data, cause I cant find out how to do the cookie thing..Duh!!!!!!

Shows, you should never give an old man a new fangled gadget that only young people can figure out.

I will admit, my brain isnt what it used to be. I dont 'compute' what I could before. My thinking is befuddled on matters, and, I dont remember a lot now. Old age? Results of my drinking all those years? Or, the head injuries I sustained as a child, from falling down on the stairs all those times, (proves, you shouldnt let a clumsy child play on the stairs LOL).
I dont know, but, I dont remember a lot of things lately, and it bothers me a lot.

Wife and kids dont think Im like that. They still think Im sharp as a tack, cause I still have my 'wit', (I try to make sure its not a sarcastic twit now, as I used to do when I was a kid). They dont believe that I dont recall this or that, and acuse me of lying!!!
(Course, they know I wouldnt lie to anyone if I can possibly help it, as one sin is enough to send you to hell, and I try not to make that mistake), but, I keep telling them, and hoping that they will get the message soon.

As for that computer...
I may not be on City Data any longer if I cant figure out how to do the cookie thing for the new windows, or Explorer, or what ever it is now???
