hunterseat df: Hunter Seat Equitation is a division that is judged on the ability and the style of the rider. The riders can be judged both over fences and on the flat.

Although true, hunters DO eat, at least the skilled ones do, my name derives from the world of horses.

And because the word hunter is in my name, people automatically think I'm a guy. Not even close.

Whenever I meet someone named Hunter I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "That's my name, too!"

So the cat escapes...

...and it's time for work. I look out and see him craning his neck so far he was nearly sitting on his hind end... meerkat-style. I figure he's hunting a squirrel. As a Hawaiian transplant, he's enthralled with squirrels. Like furry geckos of the trees. Or nearly so. I follow his stare and see two deer making their way along the creek below the duplex we're renting - for now. Woods, deer, creek, cul de sac...I've cleared some of the woods and planted flowers under the trees. If it weren't for the fat neighbor women walking around outside in their underwear I might even enjoy living here.
ps. The cat seems traumatized. He allowed me to grab him and then he couldn't even eat his breakfast. It was probably akin to an alien sighting. All he does is sit at the window and stare. Poor Leland.
