Corporeal in nature
Carbon, humanity exist.
Particles, atomic and sub
Too many to list
Are we just, impulse?
Electricity and light
Cross the synapse
The neuron to dendrite?
The mass in the brain
The matter, the gray
Consciousness, nothing?
When life fades away.
Many believe this
Maybe they're right.
Philosophy and science
Show them the light.
Others do know
They've found the truth.
Their concept of God
Rigid, aloof.
I don't know
Or claim to be.
Purveyor of wisdom
Unquestioned me.
However both sides
At least the extreme
Dogmatic and righteous
Or so it seems.
Yet each proclaims
Through logic and faith.
They know best
What's right to say.
Neither side claims
They are closed to a middle.
Instead through education
Or mock and riddle.
It seems to one
At least to me.
If you have to be right!
A life, sad and lonely.
