7. Long Strange Trip

Well, it's raining. Been raining for going on two weeks off and on. Big deal? Yes, very. It's been two years since we've seen any to speak of. Of course it has to be when I'm getting this house ready to sell. Dampness. blah. Still, the irrigation system has a broken pipe so it's a total blessing considering I'm procrastinating fixing that.
In the past I packed while the guy cleaned. It worked. Now, since I left him on the east coast, I'm stuck doing both and, turns out, I'm not a stellar performer in either realm when left to my own devices.
I did start cleaning the blinds. That's been heavy on my noggin (as Bailey Sarian says). Feels good having a start on it. Oddly enough, the puppy p-pads, cut into sections make wonderful blinds dusting cloths!
If you've gotten this far - hang on. Things about to get real! (pronounced Rio with attitude)
I got a teardrop camper. Before you look that up let me explain it's much like pulling a queen size bed behind your car. But I'm really excited. You wanna know what's really strange? The previous owners (a really cute couple) had a Tik Tok thingy and put TONS of videos up about the camper. That camper has a hundred thousand followers!!!
I plan to configure it to a twin so the big dog bed will fit in there, too. I have a queen mattress topper that will be sacrificed to give me a double layer memory foam twin. The existing queen folds to a "couch" so I really need to get it home and mess around with it. See how things will work.
It has a cargo box on the front that will come in super handy! It's really taken a lot of pressure off of my need to pare down to a pallet of goods to ship. I'll have to repack some of that stuff and get the cooler off the pallet and...not sure what else. (what elks)
OH my replacement panel for a window that came broken but was installed anyway arrived today. I really have no life. 
Calling for sun this weekend. I really hope the roof can be done!! And the HVAC unit!
I have to put in a gray water drain field. Did I mention that? Hopefully backhoe man can do it in an hour. He's a little overzealous with that backhoe. I may end up with a swimming pool sized hole.
That's all the gouge. I hope the next time I get on here I can say THE BLINDS ARE DONE!! Heck, I'd like to say the laundry's done. That's been in my car awaiting a ride to the laundromat for a week. With more to add. I really need that gray water leaching field so I can just use my own washer! *sigh*
