Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

An Invitation To Be Lifted Up

Posted 11-14-2023 at 01:13 PM by Albert Finch

When Jesus said, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17), it was not a message of judgment and condemnation – "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" offers A NEW WAY OF THINKING and being so that righteousness ( the ability to stand in the presence of Father God without the sense of guilt, inferiority or condemnation – since all our sins are forgiven (Romans 8:1,2) can no longer be mistaken as something we have to do (old covenant) in the hopes of getting God to like us, but is something we are empowered by God to walk out because He wants us available and committed to advancing His Kingdom in the earth

ONENESS WITH CHRIST

He is well aware that on our own we are not capable of coming up higher – Only by LIVING OUR LIFE THROUGH HIM can we bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom. The fruit that we bear are the Believers that we equip to disciple others.

New Believers need to be discipled into their Christ identity so they can be effective in equipping others to be ready to bear fruit through their Christ calling.

It is impossible to be productive in advancing God’s Kingdom without a firm grounding in your Christ identity.

That's why He proclaimed everywhere He went, and to all that He met, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."

His nail-scarred hand still reaches out. It still lifts up. It still invites us to BECOME AWARE OF THE Christ anointing that is present in us through His finished work on the cross -- by Him to live in our Christ identity advancing His Kingdom in the power of the Holy Spirit.

PLUGGING INTO THE HEART OF PROPHECY

New Testament prophecy communicates this by exhortation of the Ekklesia into their Christ calling thereby moving them out of the confines and limitations of their narrow, bounded lifestyles.

The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus (see Revelation 19:10). What that means is that New Testament prophecy must "testify" of Jesus. It must show forth and put on display the One who saves because He loves, the One who proffers mercy over judgment, all while empowering revelation of our CALLING in Christ.

The Apostle Paul understood this when he told the Church at Corinth that the purpose of prophecy was to exhort, edify, and encourage others (see 1 Corinthians 14:3). This is what Paul did when He ministered bringing forth the New Testament, and it is what New Testament prophecy is to be doing today.

New Testament prophecy must present the character and nature of Jesus – His love, light, life, presence, power, and personality – in a similar manner to how Jesus presented the Father when He was here in the earth - -prophesying that what Jesus did then He will do today.

PERSONAL DECLARATIONS:

[1] I speak Truth in Love and faith and see His saving, healing, transforming power manifest in our midst just as it did when Jesus walked the earth and declared, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 10:7-8).

[2] The words I speak are spirit and life – exhorting, edifying, and encouraging people to discover God's PURPOSE for their life and walk in the fullness of all Jesus has given them (see John 6:63; 1 Corinthians 14:3).

[3] I am plugging into the heart of the Father, and from the abundance of my heart, my mouth will speak words that present the Son in the power of the Holy Spirit.(see Luke 6:45).
