EL NINO TO THE RESCUE!

We finally had a month with not just above normal rainfall, but much above!!! With 6.35 inches, that is more than double the average rainfall of 3.00 for September. In the whole month, there were 11 days with registered rainfall. Most of this rain fell around the 10th associated with the first major cool front of the year. Then the rest fell on around the 23rd.

The month was also cooler than normal by 1.0 degrees F! This is the largest negative departure from normal I have seen in a while!

I am sure we all hope the trend of rain continues...October is traditionally a very wet month for us but has not been the past 2 years...BUT LETS HOPE FOR CHANGE!

You all take care, I'll be back in a month!
