too many peppermint patties and the CD allure
Do you ever eat too many peppermint patties?
They're my favorite treat. Got hooked because they're only 1 gram of fat per patty. Cool and minty. Who can resist? Figured it was a good way to have a treat and not go overboard.
But some days, I not only go overboard, I'm happily treading water in a sea of patties. 8, 9, 10 of them at least... Might as well of thrown caution to the wind and dived into that bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream I was craving. (small bowl...)
Moderation reminds me of CD. Not the moderators... but the fact that I'm trying not to become addicted, and now they go and add more tempting features, like a person's very own blog spot.
Oh, well, moderation can be overrated. Here I come my very own blog spot!!!

Not much of a chocolate eater, but CD is the first I do to when I get up and the last before going to sleep every night.
I am so happy I found this place.

I just have to add... the best way to eat a peppermint pattie... here it goes... refrigerate the whole bag. And then when you open up the wrappings to eat one. Just eat the chocolate around the edge 1st... Then the center. That's called savoring...Posted 07-12-2008 at 10:21 PM by emeraldsky

You mean to tell me I'm not the only Peppermint Pattie junkie? But I do it right. I get those at the checkout counter that are as big as moon pies. With those you an savor and chow down at the same time The only time I sort of had problems with those things is when I was being smart and bought a bag of sugar free. Big mistake. Read the label.
