All necessary control measures shall be used to effectively minimize or eliminate the presence of rodents, roaches, and other vermin and insects on the premises of all food establishments, in food-transporting vehicles, and in vending machines. OBSERVED APPROXIMATELY 30 MOUSE DROPPINGS IN THE CONVENIENCE STORE IN THE CORNER NEXT TO THE DISPLAY COOLER. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE THE AFFECTED AREAS. ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS NEEDED. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-020.
All food and non-food contact surfaces of equipment and all food storage utensils shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily. DETAIL CLEAN THE VENTILATION HOOD AND FILTERS ABOVE THE COOKING LINE, FOOD DEBRIS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HIGH TEMP DISHMACHINE, INTERIOR OF 4 DOOR COOLER ACROSS FROM THE WALK-IN COOLERS, 2 DOOR STANDUP COOLER AT END OF COOKING LINE, INTERIOR OF ICE CREAM FREEZER, MICROWAVE AT 5TH FLOOR PREP AREA.
The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair. DETAIL CLEAN THE FLOOR OF THE PRODUCE WALK-IN COOLER, FLOOR BEHIND 4 DOOR COOLER ACROSS FROM WALK-IN COOLERS, ALSO UNDER RADIATORS IN CONVENIENCE STORE.
The walls and ceilings shall be in good repair and easily cleaned. DETAIL CLEAN THE WALL BEHIND THE COOKING EQUIPMENT, AND CEILING TILES IN MAIN PREP AREA. SEAL ANY OPENINGS IN THE WALLS AROUND THE COOLER IN THE CONVENIENCE STORE. REPLACE MISSING BASEBOARD IN MEN'S LOCKER ROOM. REPAINT CEILING TILE TRACKS IN DISHWASH AREA. REPAIR CRACKED BASEBOARD TILE AT CORNER NEAR 4 DOOR COOLER ACROSS FROM WALK-IN COOLERS.
Toilet rooms shall be completely enclosed and shall be vented to the outside air or mechanically ventilated. VENTILATION FANS IN THE MEN'S EMPLOYEE WASHROOM AND MEN'S AND WOMEN'S LOCKER ROOMS ARE NOT OPERATIONAL. MUST REPAIR.
