During a routine inspection on 10/10/14 inspector was presented for review a letter dated July 22, 2014 from the Proprietor to The Department of Business and Professional Regulation. This letter referenced these violations and that the City of Pompano had approved plans for the Briny Irish Pub. On 10/10/14 it appears that the illuminated emergency exit sign for this exit has been removed. It is my understanding that the plans referenced in the July 22, 2014 letter were approved with this emergency exiting path in place. If the proprietor has verification from the Fire Department that this Emergency Exit sign may be removed and the Emergency Exit eliminated the violation will no longer be cited. **Repeat Violation**
