Seriously, if you "preview" it, then see it online, but seconds later it's gone, does it mean you've been naughty?
I've noticed this a couple of times for rather anodyne posts about (I am not joking) weather and/or similarly tepid topics. Not flaming. Not trolling. (I'm almost too old to know what those mean, BTW.)
Is this censorship? Over-protectiveness? I note that some REALLY boring, non-productive posts stay alive forever, and I am okay with that, for the sake of "discussion" and the "airing of opinions." But some have rather inflammatory words -- even racial ones.
I just want to know why you can't ask about the potential for 8-foot surf in a 2-foot season in Hawaii without having your post deleted?
Really, no harm intended.

Reason: redundancy/clarification
I went through all your posts in the last month and none of them has been deleted. Just pressing Preview Post is not enough to have your work posted. You need to press Submit Reply before it becomes visible to others.
Thanks! I don't mean to sound paranoid. I can be cantankerous, I guess, but -- weather?
An entire thread about disappearing posts recently "disappeared" also on the Hawaii Forum, so I was just wondering.
