Cool deflection. But your statement that "we never had a problem with black people here" is a huge lie.

Europe hasn't had more of a problem with black people than with other peoples, including fellow European ones. There has never been a problem with black people in particular.
Plus, except for a few countries (basically Britain, France, Belgium and Portugal for historical reasons) there used to be very few black people in Europe in the first place. That has changed more recently, but still, most Europeans go out of their way not to be racist.

Other than, say, kidnapping them to the West Indies packed into the holds of ships like lumber, then forcing those who survived the nightmare journey to work in the sugar cane fields until they died of illness or injury? Because that was Europeans doing that.

Again, I noticed that you've decided to just ignore Germany's particular history of racial discrimination and violence against people of African descent.

The problem were in the colonies themselves, no in Europe as such.
Germany has not had any particular problem with black people. Until more recently there have been so few black people in Germany that speaking of a particular problem with black people is absurd. And in the colonies Belgium is considered to have been the most racist and cruel.

How about us dealing with 2016 and not 1946.
Legions of European blacks move to the USA for a better life. Not because their corporation sent them here, or because they want to experience something different.

No because they feel that opportunities for black professionals are better in the USA than they are in a country like Germany.

Seriously I get the shivers at the notion of living in Germany. You all really don't like foreigners, unless they are sweeping your streets. Compare African immigrants to Germany with those to the USA and the UK.

This man wants to go into ancient history. Well let him explain what the Germans did to blacks in their African colonies, or what Hitler did to German blacks. Yes this was occurring at the same time that Josephine Baker felt compelled to flee to France.

So let us discuss that black government minister in Italy who was compared to a primate by an Italian politician, and was so harassed that she had to resign. That happened fairly recently

Or the violence meted out to black football players in many European nations, so violent that the authorities had to introduce sanctions. That happened fairly recently.

Yes Europeans love to hide their racism while pretending as if the USA in 2016 is the same as it was in 1946. The USA has its racial problems and we discuss them, sometimes loudly.

In Europe blacks are so terrified to discuss their issues that they don't say boo, and remain treated like pets. The UK being a partial exception to that, thanks to the influence of the USA on that nation.

Germany tried to exterminate its blacks. Within living memory of many. To be an Afro German must be a real pathetic life.

Yes no blacks in Germany so why are you babbling. And you don't even get into why. This is because the image of Germany has been so horrendous that only desperate blacks, or those in the US armed forces seek to live in that country.

Now imagine of Berlin was 60% black, or Frankfurt was only 35% white, because that is Washington DC and New York.

You know full well that Germans wouldn't be able to deal with that! Being racial minorities in two key cities.

I note that you do not get into racial attacks by right wing groups. Why do you try to fool yourself about what the world is very aware of?

Forgive him. When he learned German history non Germans were so inconsequential that they weren't even mention, so he knows nothing of what happened in what is now Tanzania and Namibia.

There is a reason why Germany produced a Hitler, and until recently many in Europe feared that this could happen again.

You are writing nonsense.

As I said, in Europe there never really was a problem with black people (the Holocaust was aimed at anyone deemed non-Germanic). In the colonies, yes, but not just in the German one. Historians agree that the Belgians were the worst colonialists.

As I also said Hitler got most of his ideas from the California eugenics movement, they provided him with racist ideas, money, etc. Even the Rockefeller foundation sponsored his racist efforts. Hitler was just a copycat who tried to outdo his mentors from across the Atlantic.

Big US cities tend to have big black populations, yes, but also slums, poverty etc. Or go to smaller cities in the Deep South, even there lots of violence and racism. You won't find places like Detroit in Europe.
Washington is less than 50% black now and further declining. More than 60,000 residents are former convicts.

There happens to be an interesting article by Swedish photographer Hannah Modigh on a German site today, her report of her travel to the US South is depressing.
Rassismus in Louisiana: "Da lauert etwas unter der Oberfläche" - SPIEGEL ONLINE

Black people for the most part like it in Europe, including Germany, that is why hundreds of thousands risk their lives every year to get here. Yes, Germany still has relatively few black citizens, but not because it is not a good place for blacks to live. There are other reasons like the language problem, most black migrants speak French or English, but not German of course. Also, Germany simply had few colonies in black Africa, unlike Portugal for instance, which still today receives many migrants from Angola etc.

Hamburg for instance has about 2% black citizens, a similar percentage as Rome or Madrid and higher than many other European cities. Even London has only 13% blacks, despite the massive African colonial history. And I dare say that blacks in Hamburg are better off than those in Madrid or Rome. Just like Jews like to live in Germany again.

Yes, occasionally there are racist incidents, but not only in Europe, also in the US.

In view of the fact that Europe never had a civil rights movement and affirmative action enforcing the fair treatment of blacks and other minorities, the treatment of blacks in Europe is surprisingly good.
