Can someone help me make a decision on what apart of Alaska is best to live for a 36yr female who is taking online classes. i really do not care about the weather just somewhere safe for a female looking for a chance in her life. However, i did some research on Juneau and anchorage but still cant make a decision, my lease in my apart will be up in a few months and i do not want to resign it. I am a house body person so i do not care about the city life. I live in Georgia, tried of the traffic as well.

A few things to keep in mind... Cost of living in Alaska is higher than what you are used to in Georgia. Getting in and out of Alaska is expensive, especially Juneau.
You'll want to have a job lined up, or significant cash reserves.
If you decided on Anchorage, you might consider Eagle River, Wasilla or Palmer. Less "city life."

It would help if you could explain why Alaska?
The impression from the original post is that the OP is looking for
a place to live while they take online courses and be a homebody.
If one wants to stay inside and take online courses that can be done
from virtually anywhere these days.
It's a long way from Georgia just to be a homebody and study via
computer.
Don't think I've ever before see a thread about going to Alaska to
be indoors rather than out.

I enjoy fishing and the wildlife, I am from the island and I miss that kinda lifestyle. I also wanted something different layback while I finish up classes online for the next 1.5yr, money is not a problem for me. Can you let me know if this help. I just wanted a chance from the traffic.

From the island? There are millions of islands. Which island are you from?

What does "a chance in my life" mean to you? There are many places where you can get away from traffic, hunt, and fish. Is there any particular reason you'd prefer any random place in Alaska over some other rural area? It's a long way to go just to get away from city traffic.
