Tourism...well...we do get quite a bit of it here. I'm not sure whether Palin's show will increase it any more than the other tv shows about it.

I watched it and thought it was pretty good. Seems like a nice family. The guy living next door is a little freaky...

you are being sucked into the media frenzy about him...he was simply sitting on his deck! Palin has made the issue about him...this happens quite a bit with people of interest the difference is the Palin are simple minded media junkies who will complain about it....does anyone else find it interesting that this family has not done these things before now....did the teenagers get to go fishing?? watch when the wicked witch fires a gun....for someone who supposedly hunts...she sure as heck flinches when that gun fires!!! FAKERS!!! she is a Blackberry junkie just like her daughter said...addicted to it...

I saw only a small part of it. Is it going to be shown again? It's awesome to watch a beautiful woman being passionate about Alaska - the most beautiful state.

I might have to watch the show (and mute it) like some of you did just to get my Alaska fix. Lived there for 6 years and miss it more every day.

I would suspect that "ALASKA" was responsible for the ratings, Those who have been to Alaska know that descriptions are futile and photos, however nice, are, in reality, two dimensional representations that can not capture the beauty that is Alaska, even the air has a distinct flavor. The ex-governor is the political equivalent of Roberto Duran, she got tired of the job, did the "No Mas" thing in so many words, and went out looking for other things she could do halfway. Alaska is the draw, Palin was just there, gettin' in the way.

Is she still living next to the stalker guy? Bet that would make some good drama!
