Another article I read said he was going to stay at a Forest Service cabin in the area. Sometimes people get lost, it happens. I'm sure he learned some very valuable lessons. There really isn't any need for the superior know-it-all's on this forum to crucify this guy. But then again these atheist types are pretty good about doing that. If you don't agree with them or you make a mistake they'll run you up the flag pole and dangle you by your feet......

Oh come on, not everybody is the same, religion or no religion or political preference. I don't think he was an idiot, he started a fire that led his rescuers to him.

while I agreed with what gobrien had to say, you have such an interesting turn of words, what with flagpoles and dangling feet and knotted panties. I think I like it.

Regardless, the guy seemed to do okay for himself, surviving all alone in a situation that probably would have bested many other people, especially at his age.

My panties are not in a knot. I know what you were talking about, or at least I can make a good guess.

Stiffy, I think you're probably squawking about your old pal CC, and trust me, you have no clue regarding his religious beliefs.

A few years ago, someone had the idea that they were going to raise rabbits. They got tired of the rabbits and turned them loose; now they are everywhere.
