Where are you getting your information?
If exxon has to pay up, that money's going to various conservation agencies.
Sorry to disappoint.

They also have to pay the parties that were damaged by the spill. Unfortunately for me I should've provided a link to the story when I made this comment. This isn't even the link that I first saw but it'll have to do. Click on the graph in the article to see the splits.

"Murkowski has sponsored legislation that would give plaintiffs a financial break if they do indeed receive a windfall from the Exxon settlement. If passed, it would allow people to put up to $100,000 away tax-free in retirement accounts."

God, Murkowski... There are so many better things we can do this money...!

Why don't you just get a sapphire? No one is going to be able to tell the difference.

Jewelry irks me.

I actually like some pieces. But then again I've been giving away jewelry to pretty young ladies most of my life.

Are you a gem...ologist (what's the term?)?
There's some stuff that would be okay, but nothing with gemstones in it, and please god almighty no gold! I like silver well enough.
Still, scarves are my weakness... silk scarves, knitted scarves, I just love scarves.
