Come to south east Texas. You will learn a whole new meaning to of hot. The temp might only be in the 90s most the time, but the humidity will certainly be in the 90s % as well making the whole damn area feel like a sauna.

I wish I had that weather right now. It was 86F earlier today where I live, even still in September. At least tomorrow the high will be in the 70s.

If I'm not mistaken, the average first major snow for most of Alaska usually happens in late October. If it snowed right now, I'd be very excited.

It was in the mid-80s in June in Anchorage. It was miserable.

Yep. Was starting to wonder if I had really left the lower 48 after all. The heatwave was in full swing when we signed the lease for our house.

Thankfully, it never got that hot again for the rest of the season, and now Fall is here!!! So happy

Interesting reading everyone's thoughts on the different temperatures! I am from Michigan and so I always thought our winters were "brutal" LOL But maybe thats because I am not a fan of cold, snowy weather. To me, its just miserable being stuck inside 6-7 months a year. I lived in Arizona and Florida for a bit and absolutely loved the weather in both places. Arizona felt more dry and Florida was more humid My husband and I just bought a house in Florida and I cannot wait to get back! I am one of the few who love the humidity and HOT weather! Temps in the 80-95 are perfect for me!

I would love to visit Alaska someday because from pictures it looks stunning!

I second that! I'd turn up an AC if it were 15 below.
