Now, cook like a grilled cheese sandwich, browning both sides of the sandwich and eat. I like mine a nice dark, almost burnt, brown. EAT!
It is that time...you are killing me with this...hungry....

And yes, I really did just do this, and let me tell you, it is yummy. I haven't cooked a bologna sammy like this in ages.

Nope, but I did have to wash up awards...good stuff.

I have to say, if it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't have even thought making this sammy...now I'm sure there are more of these to come.

SOS. Yippie! I love that stuff. I have a friend who is retired military and he makes it one Sunday a month and has the gang over for lunch. We spend the rest of the day playing bridge. Yes, my life is really exciting. And that's the way I like it. Uh huh, uh huh.

That's something else I need to make, and soon, potato salad. I haven't made it since we moved here. I make a killer, I think anyway, potato salad. And to think the potatoes here are great. Much better then....well, you know.

My mother made the same exact thing, an egg fried on top of a piece of bologna. The meat would sort of curl up on the edges and make a cup for the egg. Taste was pretty good too. Afterall, you eat bacon and eggs, ham & eggs, and sausage and eggs. Same concept.
