If your looking to live for free, move to Maine. All you need to do is have a couple of kids, preferably of a different race then yours and with different fathers. It also helps if your current boyfriend (which isn't the father of either kid) really doesn't live with you so you can get free job training, child care, food, medical, a vehicle and money to get it repaired and insured. All courtesy of the rest of us who work.

This state sounds great for people on welfare. They would get this PFD thing plus their welfare. I know of many families of 8 or more people in California who can greatly benefit from this deal in Alaska. I am spreading the word about your great state.

Go right ahead. If the weather don't weed em out, the long winter nights will. If you think a California family of 8, living on welfare, can afford to move to and live in Alaska...send them our way. Be sure to tell them they will have to be a resident for one year to even qualify. So bring groceries.

Bring groceries, and hopefully, a round trip ticket.
Anyways, not enough Walmarts. And with canned salmon being the #1 meat on the WIC list, they wouoldn't stay happy very long.

Yes it is true, but it is not that much money. In fact, there is a very easy way that you can get enough money to support your family, here in Alaska. First, you get a phone book and look up a bunch of interesting businesses, then you call them, then you dress up and go visit them, then you work for them forty hours a week, and POOF! Money magically appears in your bank account! Alaska truly is a great state.

Actually if you get a job with the government, then technically they are paying you to live here.
