I have now been in Costa Rica for 6 months. It has turned me into a wuss when it comes to cold weather. I have just moved from the beach (Santa Teresa) where you wear shorts and t shirt all day and all night to the capital (inland) where once in a while you have to wear long pants.

Make sure you move to the beach where you can wear flip flops, t shirt and swim trunks all year round

Too cold up here? It hit 83 today here in Anchorage. Our 83 feels like 95 in most places in the lower 48, due to our very low humidity. I can only imagine how warm it got in the interior. I would guess in the 90s.

Our summers tend to be hit or miss. Last summer absolutely sucked. It was almost always cloudy with quite a bit of rain. This summer is looking great so far. At this point I can only think of 2 days with any rain this whole spring/summer. We have had 2+ weeks of almost pure sunshine during the afternoons. This is good and bad of course. We actually do need some rain and right now it is starting to look promising. I just heard thunder and the clouds are rolling in.

I slept with my windows open last night in Skagway.

Flip flops and shorts? That sounds like 10 above weather to me

I have yet to visit Costa Rica, but I have visited Belize. I had a blast. How do you like Costa Rica?
