nothing has helped completely. you can try just about anything, but it will never go away completely for 24 hours. i've tried the following

-water
-sleep
-bananas
-exercise
-gatorade
-more booze
-cheeseburger
-coffee

they have all helped combined. but the sluggish and weak feeling never really goes away until the following day.

A large part of a hangover is dehydration. A 64 oz. sports drink and then a lot of water plus some OTC pain relivers should do the trick to make you feel near normal. It has done the trick for myself and others I have told to do this.

Yeah, and sudafed isn't going to cure your cold, but it might make you feel better in the meantime.

My worst problem with a hangover is I wake up early for some stupid reason, and then can't get back to sleep. HATE THAT! I always wish I could just sleep it off, but noooooooooo that never happens.

...and modifying my first post here to Alka Seltzer Plus Cold as the remedy, not just plain Alka Seltzer.

Drink 2 gatorade's before drinking, and when you wake up drink lots of water and eat some yogurt.
