"Three Buck Chuck" without a doubt ! Charles Shaw wines for $3 a bottle (In most places, but $4 where I live) is the best cheap wine on the market. It has beaten some $100 bottles in several taste competitions. I like the Shiraz & the Merlot. Their white wines are not quite as good at least in my opinion (Which doesn't count according to my wife). Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I'll be the sole semi-naysayer on Charles Shaw. It isn't bad for the price point, and the cost is admittedly low. But tastewise, there are def, marginally more costly wines that taste much better.

I absolutely love Rashi, the best wine I've ever tasted, but it's very sweet (and inexpensive).

Seriously though, I like Barefoot Chardonnay and Yellowtail Shiraz for inexpensive wine.

If you live near Trader Joe's, Two Buck Chuck is really good for the price. I'm partial to the cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc, and chardonnay. Merlot is OK.

Two Buck **** in CA. Three Buck Chuck most other states .It's been ten years and my tastes have evolved but I remember liking it.
Not that anyone asked by I believe there is a pretty big step up from 3 dollars to, say, 10-15 dollars.

I am going to agree with you. As a new wine drinker, I thought this was good. Now, it just tastes like cheap wine. I still buy inexpensive wine at TJs, it's just not Charles Shaw.

It's fine...but for just a few dollars more, you can get exponentially better.

I like some of the Cupcake Vineyards stuff (but hate the stupid name). Their NZ Sauvignon Blanc is nice.
