Well kind of embarrassing but it's actually for my husband anyway. He has had this condition for awhile and tried over the counter and rx treatments but nothing seems to help. Anyone else have this and find something natural that works? Thx

If they've already ruled out worms or a fungal infection, then maybe it's an irritation caused by an allergy to something he eats. Or if he thinks it could be fungal, then maybe drying the area several times a day (with a hair dryer on the cold setting, or bending over in front of a fan) would help.

LOL, thx. I don't think he would do either of those things but thanks for the ideas. No the dr explained what was causing it but it was neither of those things. Although the food allergy is maybe something to consider.

Default Diluted Apple Cider Vinegar

Rapture...I haven't been diagnosed with PA...but do have itching at times. I used apple cider vinegar diluted with water to at last 1/2 strength or less. I apply it with toiler paper compress and pat it where it needs to go. It helps tremendously. ACV is alkaline and gets the job done, sometimes for 1/2 a day.

I have suffered with this for years and discovered Witch Hazel to have the cure. I am able to sleep at night for the first time in years. Use a cotton ball and moisten it, place it in the anal area - it worked for me. I felt that I should share this one

Witch Hazel works for hemorrhoids, worms, and more. If it doesn't then I would suspect a yeast infection. Try acidophiles, either orally or.... you know.

Apple cider vinegar is acidic, not alkaline, but it may help.

The OP is a couple of years old, but here is a summary on the condition:

Get a handheld shower, squat down while in the shower and make sure it's thoroughly clean down there. The smallest particles of feces left behind can cause irritation for some people, sometimes wiping isn't enough.
