So I have but now it's gotten worse.
And I've found out now that it doesn't hurt if I don't eat meat!
Does anyone know anything about the liver and eating meat??? Thanks
I read through some of the advice and dialog but may have missed it. I think it was mentioned that you had back pain as well. is the pain between the shoulder blades? have you noticed if fat in general gives you pain? do you crave sweets or get irritable if you miss meals? wake up at night after sleeping a few hours? all these can be indications of gall bladder dysfunction. even if there are no stones. if you do have stones, you don't always need surgery. that will depend on the size of the stones and your own philosophies on it. since you mentioned that you ate at long john silvers (which your doctor is right, its not food)... if you often at at places that used oil at high temps (or used a lot of vegetable oils which are also very unhealthy), it may cause the bile in your GB to become more sludge like. so even if its not stones, doing a GB cleanse can be helpful.
An inability to digest meat, esp red meat, could also be due to issues with low stomach acid. I often have this problem so tend to avoid red meat but if I forget I take HCl tabs or a glass of water with a tablespoon of vinegar. Digestive enzymes help too.
But because I increased my intake of carbs to off set not being able to eat fats?
I came down with Candida over growth of yeast in my body that broke out in my mouth and throat.
So I went to the Health Food Store to get Beta Glucan.
And was rejoicing that not only did it put a stop to the yeast aliment but also no more problems with the Gall Bladder either!
I'm back to eating everything I want again!
