You mean in the USA? In my area I know of Northampton, MA, which has a lot of natural healing and is very open minded. It's even become a little too weird for me.

When I look up alternative practitioners it seems that a lot of them were trained in Oregon.

Hopefully, other people will know more.

Is there any particular area of Vermont? I would guess the Brattleboro area in southern Vermont and probably the Burlington area when the university it located. As a state, Vermont does produce a lot of good things, like organic foods, and Vermonters, in general, tend to be open minded--live and let live.
