Hey all, Could you please list for favorite places to eat, and why you love them so? I would like to take my wife out this weekend, and realized, I cannot think of anywhere new, so I figured i would ask here. She loves Seafood, Thai, and BBQ. Thanks in advance!

Morgan's Fish House in Rye is really good! It's not too fancy, but it's very good. I haven't had a bad meal yet.

I've pretty much only gone to cheap BBQ so not sure they're really "date" places, but I really like Q Restaurant and Bar. It's very casual, though, but good! I also went to Barnacle BBQ in Mamaroneck, although I haven't read very many good reviews, but I really liked their St. Louis ribs. Might be more of a hit or miss place. Again, pretty casual.

I'm not sure I've had Thai in Westchester!

For Thai try the Red Lotus in New Rochelle on the Post Rd, and for casual to-go BBQ I like Chickens Gone Wild, just down the block from Red Lotus.

Fish I don't know, but I've found a fabulous little place written up in Westchester Magazine for cheese steaks called L&J's. Best onion rings I've ever had...L&J's Cheese Steaks & Clam Bar

I also like Morgans Fish House for seafood.
For sushi - go to Hajime in Harrison. Unpretentious and pedestrian looking place, bu the quality of the sushi (just traditional stuff) is exemplary.
