I have a favorite radio station I listen to all day, no longer watch TV.

My favorite station is doing ads for probiotics and an anti inflammatory supplement.

Change is happening, slow, but it's happening.

On the same station, an MD takes calls from listeners on health issues and he is NOT
adverse to Alt Med.

I’m lucky, over the years all the MDs I’ve had are open minded enough and understand Alt Med. They always supported my thoughts as long as it wasn’t going to affect the overall reason for why I had to visit them in the first place. Most all good MDs will support a patient from what I’ve seen. We did have one who failed to provide reasonable service and he was fired. It was strange to see the look on his face in the hospital room when he heard - “you’re fired!” Patients are the employer.

Most medical talk I hear on the radio are from people who are NOT MDs,,,, they're just pushing product so I turn it off.

The radio station will take any ads that are paid for.

It kills me to hear ads where someone says my MS, or CA or COPD was cured in a week. Throw away your meds

There should be laws against that crap, but the FDA lost the lottery on that one.

I don't hear those kind of ads, telling people to throw away their meds...Nope.

These stations take many ads from a lot of companies.

I could say a lot more but then I'll be going Off Topic.
