Just like golfers read Golf Digest, doctors read medical journals. And the advertising in both is targeted to the audience of the publication. No doctor receives money for reading journals nor for prescribing drugs. That’s been frequently and totally debunked.

Um ... the journals publish the papers about the clinical trials, including data, usually in supplementary appendices?
So ... physicians ... read them? They get the information for the drugs they prescribe patients from pharma-funded clinical trial outcomes that are published in pharma-funded medical journals. Which report on pharma drugs. The articles of which are written by physician researchers who are paid to run the clinical trials ... by the drug companies.
So ... conflict of interest regarding the source of funding for the information?
