Also, the Chinese population in NYC is greater than in the entire country of Venezuela. Of course the Chinatowns in NYC is bigger (and more vibrant) than anything in Venezuela.
For that matter, I’m not sure any Chinatowns in the Americas are even comparable to those in NYC. Maybe San Francisco but that’s not even a certainty.

I think San Fran has the largest Chinatown in North America.
Almost a century ago, the largest chinatown in Latin America was in Havana. Second after SF.
