My friends want to know what Anchorage looks like, where should be a good place to go to take pic such as Natural landscape, streetscape, urban landscape, architecture?

Glen Alps out on the powerline trail is an easy-access photo opt. Also, from the parking lot at Glen Alps take the short trail up to the overlook for shots down to the city. If the mountain Denali is out it is right there too along with the volcanoes.

Pt. Woronzof is also a great photo opt of the mountain on a clear day.

For Pt. Woronzof... I like to take my pictures from the bluff... Before you make the turn around the end of the runway, stop at the blue gate. Go past it for some great pictures of the downtown skyline, Denali (if it's out) and the water.

Late nights and early mornings on 4th Avenue have some great wildlife sightings.
