On my last visit to the Ford service department at the Wasilla dealership, when I went to pick yp my vehicle, there was a lot of emphasis by the service manager in regards to the "Ford Customer Service Satisfaction Survey". After going over everything that was done with my vehicle and ensuring I had no questions, the service manager made a point to discuss the survey I would receive. He stated that anything less than a stellar performance on the survey was considered a failure by Ford.

From that experience, I am assuming corporate Ford is looking very hard at all their dealership service departments and how their customers perceive them. I'm not sure how the dealership is awarded or penalized for good or bad survey numbers, however it certainly was important enough for the service manager to discuss it specifically with me. The service manager also wanted to make sure I understood everything that was done,as well as making sure that I wasn't leaving with a question unanswered, a problem not resolved, or an issue that wasn't addressed.

I've heard a couple of negative comments from others about Worthington, however those were from sales experiences. Since I didn't purchase my Ford Escape here in at dealership in Alaska (or in this country), I have no reference for how good or bad Worthington's sale department really is. The most I can say about Worthingtonis that some of their commercials are pretty darn annoying, especially with Jr. starts with his loud, yelling ads.

Glad the anxiety was for nothing...
