I'm moving up in middle-May for a job on the Kenai. Thus, we have been looking for jobs for my husband. I don't have raw data, but it seems like there are a decent number of para and professional jobs around. Lots of healthcare, education, bank tellers, hospitality jobs. Also lots of lower rung jobs like hospitality (servers/housekeeping side of hospitality). Not saying there are a plethora of jobs, but where are there in this day and time?? For the low population on the Kenai, seems like there are a few jobs here and there.

If it keeps switching back and forth as it has done historically you could be part of Japan or Russia.

Will you pick up arms to defend Russia against Japan or vice versa?

If I was married to a Russian woman living north of Japan, however I dont think Russia allows weapons. That is about the only down side, but my rifle sits in a case, I have not even shot it for recreation in 2 years so its not that huge of a loss.

I do have a gf here in anchorage so as long as she stays with me and im happy I will stay here but I want to be ready to leave and that takes alot of networking and language skills. After all when you are "defending" your country, what exactly do you think you are defending, its mostly your wife and family, mostly your wife.
