When I first came to Alaska I found that people were much more intuitive and smarter than the lower 48. Not book smart but life smart. Now that I have been in San Diego for a couple years it's even more clear to me that being cultured for many is a snobs way of being "one up" on the other people. How exciting is that?

Not very much at all.

You have always come across to Harrier as a snob in threads concerning alcohol.

Why ask such a question in the Anchorage forum?
Is there a reason you refer to yourself in 3rd person?

what does "cultured" even mean? Does it mean theres a bunch of minority ghettos or does it mean there is a s***y museum in the city center? Each city is unique in its own way and has its own "culture".
