The rape crimes seem really high in anchorage, I want to know if anyone of you have had probs? I'm sure with proper pre-caution all should be well, but I do have a teen daughter to worry about tips info areas to stay away from other than the obvious alleys ect...would be helpful. thank you.

As in all places, something bad can happen in a "good" neighborhood. Common sense, being aware of your surroundings, being careful who you select for friends, not being out alone late at night.....some areas are safer then others, but it's best to always keep your guard up.
