I exchange US dollars for Canadian at a Bank of America in Bellingham. They usually have a good exchange rate. Otherwise I stop at the first town when I cross the border and exchange at a Canadian bank. Also good rates. Plus no extra fees. Plenty of banks along to the way to exchange money.
