kind of scared now. 13 more days before road trip starts. April 20. once Mr bob is on highway 16 and Alaska Canada highway things will be very good. Mr bob will average eight hours each day driving. have plenty of money. mom's financing the whole cost transportation to Denali, Alaska. Skagway, Alaska will be half way point at Ashley Bowman apartment. rest several days. yes indeed.

Warning on GPS. They don't always find the "best" route. I recently used my son's GPS in a city I know fairly well. I was going to a restaurant I wasn't familiar with and it had me taking a route that wasn't the the most efficient. I followed the better path and it adjusted. It also had me take the exit before the restaurant when in retrospect, it would have been better to take the exit just past and drive back. Also, I lost my sense of direction when we got there. I didn't know which way was north.

Yes good advice. AAA auto club maps and also look at outside road markers when going through or on the outerbelts of major cities. only use GPS to see whats in front of ones auto/car. Use AAA Maps for direction..
