I stop there anytime I make the drive. Nice fuel stop place. It's a cool place inside. Food is good too. I've never stayed there tho. Not far up the road they have a pink colored quartz. This lodge has some in their stone fireplace. Very neat rock. I have yet to grab any tho. So Bob...once you drive north of the lodge...keep an eye out on the left...and grab me some of those round pink river rocks! I'll make it worth your while!

Stiffnecked Should Mr bob do it? I could leave the pink colored quartz rocks at condo dorm building when I get to Denali. then make plans for delivery.

I think you should do it. Grab some of the pink quartz rock too. Then when the season is over you and Rance can get together and exchange rocks.

Hotel looks good and secure away from traffic. Car will be safe at night in parking lot. at the hotels I will upload few pictures on this forum. Start April 20 from homosassa, Florida to Healy, Alaska. more then ten day trip. have funds from my account for whole trip already saved up. $2,000. I will be able to have my car for whole summer at Denali, Alaska. work job starts May 7.
