Hey guys,
I'm needing some info from people who are in the Anchorage area right now or were there within the last, oh....6months. I lived in Anchorage for 2yrs, early 06-new years 08, and then jobs were great, Anchorage was the place to be(for me at least!) Anyhoo, long of short I had to come back to the east coast due to a family crisis and just stayed put till now.
How is the job market there now? And is the unemployment rate raelly climbing up as high on the ladder as I'm seeing online? Any info is much appreciated b/c I'm not keen on moving into jobless land ya know?

There are some job losses, but for the moment it is fairly stable. They figure Anchorage to lose about 200 jobs in the coming year.
