We had AIG in WY...somebody else in MN... GEICO in AK for the vehicles and living bus (not so sure right now)....but had to have someone else for house and the boat, as GEICO wouldn't do...they rock for the vehicles though....

I use State Farm. If you qualify, I believe USAA will cover you in Alaska.

Alaska Mutt - It has been a lot of long days at work this week and my mind is tired. Can you refresh my memory as to what USAA is?

They provide auto insurance and other things. I believe you have to be in the military or be retired military to qualify. I believe you can also qualify if one of your parents was military. Not really sure. Click here for their website

Not true, I had to bring my current policy with me (not just the card) when I changed the plates and title on my vehicle 4 years ago.
And always have that card in the vehicle at all times, it's a real hassle if you get caught without it.
BTW....I have Geico been a customer for over 20 years.

"Very TRUE in Palmer" I Licensed 2 vehicals in the last 5 months and was not asked to show any kind of insurance.

they dont ask in Anchorage either.


Geico

They have good customer service but if you are in an accident, your rates will triple!
