queen bee, I was born and raised in MA and am familiar with the long, cold and sometimes snowy winters. As a matter of fact, winter was the main reason I moved 21 years ago. Even if you cannot move right away I invite you to take a trip out here (if you have never been here) to check it out. Arizona is vastly different in nearly every way. Not perfect, but if you are tired of the snow it's not a bad place to be. Keep hope alive!😊
