Agreed.

The Ivory Tower is a bit confused in regard to censorship.

Where I live in Havasu AZ, we have the highest average low temp of any built up area in the USA. This winter the lows have been higher. Not saying a trend. But if lows are higher they are much less noticeable and problematic, as compared to highs.

When humidity is low, we seem to be OK up to about 112. At that point you can very quickly go downhill if you're outside doing some work in the sun.

In a way I agree. Too many breeders having kids when they can't afford it is the real problem. Global warming is a natural cyclical occurrence, as is global cooling. What could we as humans possibly do to offset any kind of global warming? It's foolish and risky to mess with Mother Nature ... and it's even more foolish to make global warming a heated political issue like it is!

Boo hoo. Sorry that your precious marine life is more important than human life, but some of us believe the opposite. Besides, improved technology can make desalination a reality without harming the environment.

This comes from somebody who lives in Minnesota? Some people would say the northern U.S. isn't meant for human population, especially considering how cold and brutal the winters can be. People slipping, falling and injuring themselves, wrecking their cars on the icy roads, having to shovel snow, and weather proof their homes constantly. Nope, not a very suitable climate for human habitation!

Yes, the NWS predicted a warm, dry winter for CA and the SW, but cold and snowy in the eastern U.S. So far, they have been correct ... but then again, they usually are right when they predict sunny, warm, and dry weather here. They're usually incorrect about wet spells and how much precipitation will actually fall.

Oceans have bigger problems then salt generated by future AZ desalinization plants, like plastic contamination for one. Why I hate all this CO2 nonsense. Amount of CO2 generated by human activity is minuscule in the larger grand scheme of things. People stress over this while real problems like plastic and pharmaceutical contamination of fresh water supplies and the ocean are huge problems that often get ignored.
