Had it in Benson, little place called, "Mi Casa" . The food was really way outstanding. I love mexican food, eat it as often as my doctor let me Place is easy to miss, but with a GPS you must find it. It is right of the main drag.
When you are in or around Benson, try it.

I think I read that Robert and john Kennedy were sent to a ranch near Benson, when they were in their early twenties. Something to do with allergies. Amtrack station in Benson, but lots of flood plain.

We have a varietion of that here in Safford (Jilbertos)

One of the best green Chile burros in town.

By the way....do any other areas in AZ call burritos burros, or is that just a upper Gila Valley thing?

All of the Bertos began with two brothers: Roberto & Alberto, and from there all of the other 'Berto Mexican food places came about. There is/was a youtube "Burrito Blog" about this -- out there in cyberland.

Regarding the burro & burrito question, here's a decent link for you. I've personally heard "burrito" probably 99% of the time, but I've also heard them called burros!

Mr. G's/Chile Pepper in Yuma probably the best carne asada burritos out there, at least in AZ. When I was stationed in California, there was a place in Riverside called Cazares that was a Mexican grocery store but had a deli in the back. You could get a burrito with carne asada, beans, rice, salsa, etc for like $3 and it was bigger than my arm.

Ahh, Filbertos has an amazing breakfast burrito. You can eat one for breakfast and be stuffed till dinner. The best part is the greasy goodness that drips off of the behemoth burrito onto your lap while you're trying to eat it. I'm salivating at the thought of one.
