Bull... wanting to tax 70% of rich people is not a moderate position, based on Ocasio-Cortez. Majority of the Democratic party is moving towards that ideal.

Ocasio-Cortez is a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, not a true Democrat. Big difference, and she doesn't speak for the majority of the Democratic party. She just gets lots of attention due to her age and farther left than most views.

A 70% bracket on dollars over $10,000,000. Do you not know how marginal tax brackets work?

So shes a communist, got it. And she's quickly becoming a figurehead for the Dem party. Doesn't matter if she doesn't speak for the majority, the amount of attention she is getting is alarming and means she will take the party further left with her.

I know how tax brackets work. Individuals making over $510,300 annually are in the 7th tier which are taxed at 37% of their income. With the way the Democratic party is going, it would rather tax all of your income and redistribute it to others who don't deserve it. What's the point of being successful in the United States if more than half of your income is taxed? People will move to a different country that is more business friendly.

You just don't like a different opinion. Give them an inch, they will take a mile. Expect more people similar politically to Ocasio-Cortez get voted into the D party in the future.
