Hello, I am considering relocating to the Phoenix area from Southern California. We usually take our Buggies to Ocotillo Wells but if we move, this will be a little too far. Is there a site within a couple of hours of Phoenix that would compare to Ocotillo Wells? In Ocotillo we can camp where ever we find a spot, its wide open and we can run our sand cars in the wash as fast as they can go safely. I have been searching the web trying to find a place comparable but I am having little luck. I would appreciate any information, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Parker has it all. Ton of offroading in the winter and than river fun in the summer.

Thank you! Do you have any advise as to how to find a place to camp? We like to camp further away from other campers because we tend to get loud and do not want to offend.

Parker’s a party town around the river. It’s a play land for wealthy Californians with weekend river houses, RZRs and high end power boats. Point being, there is a lot of loud people and you won’t be bothering anyone. That being said, I’ve never been to a camp spot. My aunt and uncle have a house in the moovalya keys. I either stay there or if a lot of us are going out there we rent another house in the keys.
